Start Here and Membership Class

At CBC, we believe a disciple is someone following Jesus, becoming like Jesus, and living on mission with Jesus and we believe God has called us to do this in community.

 

The first week will be our Start Here Class where you will learn our story, theological distinctives, why we do church membership as we follow Jesus. The following two weeks will dig deeper into how we seek to become like Jesus, and live on mission with Jesus 

 

Following the 3-week class, if you are interested in living as a disciple with the family of CBC as a member we will connect you with one of our elders for a member interview.

 

Our next classes will meet September 7th, 14th, and 21st at 10:45 a.m. in the Gardens Chapel. Please register if you wish to attend!

Why Baptism

Our next Baptism Class is on Sunday, July 13th during the 9:00 a.m. service in the Gardens Fellowship Hall. At this class, you can expect to find answers to questions such as:
 

  • What is baptism?

  • What does baptism mean?

  • What happens to someone who gets baptized?

  • When should someone pursue baptism?


Whether you're convinced that baptism is the right next step for you, or if you're just interested in learning more, we would love for you to join us. This class is for anyone interested in learning more about and/or pursuing baptism as their next step of obedience.​​​
