During the school year, students meet weekly to study God’s Word and learn to apply it to their everyday lives.
On Monday and Wednesday afternoons, CBC Neighbors Tutors provide personalized academic growth opportunities, while building relationships, through a program called IXL.
“AND HE SAID TO HIM, “YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND. THIS IS THE GREAT AND FIRST COMMANDMENT. AND A SECOND IS LIKE IT: YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.
CBC Neighbors partners with The Dream Campaign, a Savannah-based nonprofit, which focuses on mentoring, discipleship and leadership development. Their toolbox program, along with other creative hands-on projects/workshops, help youth discover their strengths by learning who and whose they are in Christ. The heartbeat of their ministry is to build relationships, mentor and connect creative experiences and life skills to a biblical principle.
Neighborhood outreach & community development
Our aim is to build relationships and uplift our neighbors while raising up leaders to transform our neighborhood and city. Whether it is through providing yard work, playing basketball with kids, helping with resumes and job searches, or helping with entrepreneurial projects, we seek to identify and build on the assets of our community and network neighbors with the body of Christ.
