Community Bible Church of Savannah (GA) is seeking a biblically qualified and musically gifted leader with a passion for congregational worship in the local church. A qualified candidate should model a life committed to following Jesus, becoming like Jesus, and living on mission with Jesus. Practically, they should be a creative individual with strong musical (vocal and instrumental) and technical skills (propresenter, planning center, audio/video), proficient in administrative tasks (i.e. scheduling & communication), and able to work well within a creative team.
All applicants should have a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and exhibit a meaningful and growing personal relationship with Him that models the biblical standards of personal conduct and lifestyle.
The Associate Worship Pastor will partner with the Worship Pastor and Production Director to fulfill the vision and the mission of CBC Savannah. This person will assist the Worship Pastor in coordinating all details that a service encompasses, ensuring that all musical and technical aspects of the service advance the text of the day; plan, execute, and oversee gospel-centered liturgies for various gatherings within the body; oversee coordination of all instrumentalists and vocalists, song selection, and production aspects as needed; build, train, and maintain the
necessary teams to carry out the worship ministries at CBC; maintain licensing and copyrighted worship music at CBC.
Community Bible Church of Savannah is a non-denominational church located in Georgia’s Coastal Plain region with an average attendance of approximately 1,350. CBC exists to glorify God by equipping people to follow Jesus through community and the Bible. We gather as worshipers of God, grow as followers of Jesus, and go —empowered by the Spirit—to be the church in our community, and around the world.
