Promise 686’s mission is to mobilize the Church communities to care for vulnerable children by equipping churches to support local foster and adoptive families, and biological families in crisis. By training churches on how to create and lead successful Family Advocacy Ministries, we’re working toward seeing every child in a safe and loving family... forever!
Through CBC's Family Advocacy Ministry (Proximity), our church is brought into awareness of the plight of vulnerable children and the families who care for them in Chatham County. We respond in God's power to the relational and physical needs of children and families in crisis, bringing Gospel presence into "Proximity" of those who we serve.
NEEDS:
| Join a Care Community that provides wrap-around support to foster, adoptive and
biological families by regularly providing meals, tutoring, childcare, transportation, laundry, yard work, etc.
| Join the CBC CarePortal response team to meet the physical and relational needs of local children and families in crisis.
